I am a dedicated educator who has found my true calling at Sacred Heart School. From the moment I attended a P.L.C. meeting at Sacred Heart, I knew deep within my heart that this was the place I was meant to be.
Immersed in the God-centered culture of Sacred Heart School, I have been privileged to contribute as a faculty member, experiencing the joy of collaboration and the rewarding nature of helping others. From the very first day, I walked into the school building, I was captivated by the incredible sense of community and the unwavering commitment to fostering spiritual growth in every student.
As a third-grade teacher, I have discovered my passion for nurturing young minds and instilling a love for reading. My personal journey as a struggling reader in childhood fuels my determination to empower my students, ensuring they become confident and proficient readers.
I cherish the moments when I can openly discuss and celebrate the presence of God with my students. Witnessing my students' genuine love for God as it manifests throughout their day fills my heart with immeasurable joy. Among all the school activities, Mass days hold a special place in my heart, as they provide a powerful and inspiring way to start each day with reverence and spiritual connection.
In my journey as an educator, I have found solace and guidance in the wisdom of two beloved saints. St. Joseph of Cupertino, the patron saint of students and test takers, holds a special significance for me, as I frequently pray the saint's prayer for success in tests. Inspired by St. Mother Teresa and her powerful words, I embrace the saint's timeless mantra of "do it anyway," embodying the spirit of perseverance and unwavering dedication in my daily interactions with my students and colleagues.
