Sacred Heart School has been a major part of my life for the last six years. Four out of the six years I spent my time in 4th grade and the other two were in middle school English and reading. I have enjoyed my time in middle school, but will be returning to fourth grade for the 2022-2023 school year. My favorite part about teaching is developing relationships with my students and their families, no matter what grade I am in. Everyone has a different goal in mind when they become an educator; the goal I strive for every day is for my students to know how much I care about them and to teach them the virtue of kindness.
Mother Teresa has inspired me during my time as a Catholic Educator. As Mother Teresa said, “Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier. Be the living expression of God's kindness: kindness in your face, kindness in your eyes, kindness in your smile.” She inspires me everyday to spread kindness to others, support people around me and spread love to the children.
