I have been a proud member of Sacred Heart Parish with my family since 2017, following our move from Illinois. The warmth of the community and the profound sense of belonging captivated us instantly. After several years of dedicated volunteering, I joined the Sacred Heart School in 2021 as a Preschool Aide and assumed the role of Preschool 3’s Teacher in 2022. Witnessing the joy of learning in my students and the reflection of my passion through them is truly rewarding. I am deeply passionate about my job, firmly believing God guided me to this fulfilling role at the perfect time.
My husband, Andy, and I celebrated 11 years of marriage and are blessed with two children attending Sacred Heart School. Beyond the classroom, I keep myself occupied by coaching fourth-grade boys and first-grade girls soccer teams. Amidst the hustle of soccer practices and games, my family enjoys quality time boating and fishing on the river or at Mark Twain Lake.
St. Francis of Assisi, the Patron Saint of animals, holds a special place in my heart. Embracing the responsibility to care for all God's creatures, big and small, resonates with our family's deep love for animals. Actively engaged in dog rescues, we have fostered numerous dogs until they found their forever families. As St. Francis wisely said, "Remember that when you leave this earth, you can take with you nothing that you have received—only what you have given."
